María Paz Martín

Doctorada en Micología por la Universidad de Barcelona, realicé mi formación postdoctoral en el Departamento de Micología Forestal y Patología de la SLU (Uppsala, Suecia). Me incorporé al Real Jardín Botánico como becaria postdoctoral en 1999 dentro del proyecto Flora Micológica Ibérica; pasé de investigadora contratada (primera convocatoria del programa Ramón y Cajal, nov. 2001), a Científico Titular del CSIC en 2002; y, desde 2006 Investigadora Científica de OPIs.
Durante estos años he sido jefa de la Unidad Técnica de Apoyo a la Investigación (2002-2006), Vicedirectora de Investigación (2006-2007) y Jefa del Departamento de Micología (2009-marzo 2017) del Real Jardín Botánico.
Soy miembro activo de los grupos de trabajo de hongos del CBOL (Consortium for the Barcode of Life) y ECBOL (European Consortium for the Barcode of Life). Desde junio de 2014 hasta junio de 2018, presidí el Comité Internacional de la Sociedad Micológica de América. Dentro del Programa Ciencias sin fronteras (2014-2016), fui investigadora y profesora visitante en la Universidade do Rio Grande do Norte (Natal, Brasil).
En la actualidad soy la directora de la revista Anales del Jardín Botánico de Madrid, de acceso abierto; y editora de la revista Mycokeys. Valoro muy positivo compartir el CV y la investigación en perfiles on line:

Soy autora de más de 300 trabajos científicos (incluidos libros, capítulos de libro, artículos científicos y de divulgación), de los que 135 están publicados en revistas del SCI. De acuerdo con ISI Web of Knowlege, mis artículos en SCI han obtenido 5326 citas; sin embargo, en Google Academico toda mi producción científica supera las 8500 citas, lo que indica la importancia de visualizar también los resultados de la investigación no solo en revistas del SCI.
PhD in Mycology from the University of Barcelona, I completed my postdoctoral training in the Department of Forest Mycology and Pathology of the SLU (Uppsala, Sweden). I joined the Royal Botanic Garden as a postdoctoral fellow in 1999 in the Iberian Flora Flora Project; I went from hired researcher (first call of the Ramón y Cajal program, Nov. 2001), to Senior Scientist of the CSIC in 2002; and, since 2006 OPIs Scientific Researcher.
During these years I have been head of the Technical Unit for Research Support (2002-2006), Deputy Director of Research (2006-2007) and Head of the Department of Mycology (2009-March 2017) of the Royal Botanic Garden.
I am an active member of the fungal working groups of CBOL (Consortium for the Barcode of Life) and ECBOL (European Consortium for the Barcode of Life). From June 2014 to June 2018, I chaired the International Committee of the Mycological Society of America. Within the Science without Borders Program (2014-2016), I was a researcher and visiting professor at the University of Rio Grande do Norte (Natal, Brazil).
I am currently the director of the magazine Anales del Jardín Botánico de Madrid, with open access; and editor of Mycokeys magazine. I value very positively sharing the CV and research in online profiles:
