Mary Hirsch estudió biología antes de llegar a Barcelona en 2006. Tiene un máster en comunicación científica de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Trabajó en Thomson Reuters durante muchos años, y en 2016 se unió al Departamento de Research Management en un centro de investigación en Barcelona. Está interesada en temas de ciencia abierta, y cree que la gestión y difusión de los datos científicos juegan un un papel fundamental en el open access. Actualmente, Mary forma parte del equipo de DataCite, donde ayuda a llevar a cabo su misión de acceder, compartir y citar los datos de investigación.
Mary Hirsch studied biology before arriving in Barcelona in 2006. She has a master's degree in scientific communication from the Pompeu Fabra University. He worked at Thomson Reuters for many years, and in 2016 he joined the Department of Research Management at a research center in Barcelona. She is interested in open science issues, and believes that the management and dissemination of scientific data play a fundamental role in open access. Currently, Mary is part of the DataCite team, where she helps carry out her mission of accessing, sharing and citing research data.
