Licenciado en Geografía e Historia por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y en Documentación por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Ha desarrollado la mayor parte de su carrera profesional en el CSIC, desde 1996, año en el que realizó las prácticas del extinto Módulo de FP Grado 3 de Biblioteconomía, Archivística y Documentación en la biblioteca del Instituto de Filología. Ha sido becario en el Instituto de Historia del CSIC, en la sede central del Instituto Cervantes y en el Senado, y contratado en la biblioteca en el Instituto de Filología del CSIC. Fue responsable de la biblioteca y el archivo del desaparecido Instituto Histórico Hoffmeyer desde el año 2000. En 2005 se incorpora al Instituto de Historia como responsable de la Unidad de Apoyo de Tratamiento de la Imagen. En esta Unidad se llevan a cabo las tareas de digitalización del material fotográfico en vidrio conservado en el archivo fotográfico, y se prepara el resto de documentación fotográfica para el traslado al Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales (CCHS). En el CCHS se unen el archivo fotográfico y el archivo textual en una única unidad de archivo que incorpora toda la documentación archivístiva de los institutos unificados en el nuevo centro. Con posterioridad, en 2009, se incorpora a la URICI, donde ha trabajado en tareas relacionadas con los Archivos de la Red y de calidad de la Red. Ha sido miembro del Grupo estratégico para el estudio del impacto socioeconómico de las bibliotecas en la sociedad del Consejo de Cooperación Bibliotecaria y del grupo de trabajo de calidad del CSIC.
Degree in Geography and History from the Complutense University of Madrid and in Documentation from the Carlos III University of Madrid.
He has developed most of his professional career at the CSIC, since 1996, the year in which he carried out the practices of the late Grade 3 FP Module of Library, Archival and Documentation in the library of the Institute of Philology. He has been a fellow at the Institute of History of the CSIC, at the headquarters of the Instituto Cervantes and in the Senate, and hired in the library at the Institute of Philology of the CSIC. He was responsible for the library and archive of the missing Hoffmeyer Historical Institute since 2000. In 2005 he joined the Institute of History as head of the Image Treatment Support Unit. In this Unit the tasks of digitizing glass photographic material preserved in the photographic archive are carried out, and the rest of photographic documentation is prepared for the transfer to the Center for Human and Social Sciences (CCHS). In the CCHS the photographic archive and the textual archive are united in a single archive unit that incorporates all the archival documentation of the unified institutes in the new center. Subsequently, in 2009, he joined URICI, where he worked on tasks related to the Archives of the Network and quality of the Network. He has been a member of the Strategic Group for the study of the socio-economic impact of libraries in the society of the Library Cooperation Council and the quality work group of the CSIC.
